It is with huge delight and great pleasure that we invite and welcome you to the 2nd Northern Postgraduate Chemical Engineering Conference, 2014 (NPCEC 2014), which holds at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.
Very much like its predecessor, the 2nd Northern Postgraduate Chemical Engineering Conference aims to enable researchers at different stages to present their work, to peers in an encouraging and supportive environment, while still providing them the experience of presenting to the greater research community in a professional setting. This conference will bring together scientists, engineers, industrial professionals and students to discuss current challenges and establish new partnerships.
In order to encourage full participation from a wide variety of researchers, the organising committee has elected to open up the conference to postgraduate students FREE of any registration fees.
The conference promises to pack a punch with keynote speakers from industry and academia, guided laboratory tours within the Institute of Mechanical Process and Energy Engineering (IMPEE), oral and poster presentations and the opportunity to network.
